A site for everyone at the table.
We want anyone to be able to find our sandwiches, read our spec sheets and get in touch, however they use the web. Here is what we have done, what we are still working on, and how to tell us when something gets in your way.
Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA across the whole site. That standard covers people who use screen readers, keyboards, voice control, magnification and captions, and people with cognitive, visual, hearing and motor disabilities.
We treat accessibility as part of how we build, not a check at the end. New pages are reviewed before they go live, and the whole site is reviewed at least once a year.
What we've built
-
Keyboard friendly. Every link, button and form field can be reached with Tab and used with Enter or Space. A skip link jumps past the menu.
-
Described images. Photos carry text descriptions of what they actually show. Decorative shapes are hidden from screen readers.
-
Clear structure. Headings follow a logical order and pages use landmarks, so assistive technology can move through them quickly.
-
Labelled forms. Every form field has a visible label, not just placeholder text, and errors are described in words, not colour alone.
-
Gentle motion. Animations are short and nothing flashes. If your device asks for reduced motion, we switch them off.
-
Resizable text. Pages reflow to a single column and stay usable when zoomed to 200 percent or viewed on a small phone.
-
Plain language. We write in short sentences and explain industry terms like MOQ, co-packing and cross-docking where they appear.
